VISA And Friends...
Visa On The Radio
So what do you want to know? How this fairy tale started? I can lie to you and tell you that it all came easy and with the snap of my fingers but like I said thats a lie! Lets get straight to it! My name is Visa, your Night Show host from 6p-10p. Born and raised in the Bay Area, went to San Jose State and started my radio career in San Francisco at KYLD- WiLD 94.9 where I worked for free, interned, stickered stuff, did everything including cleaning the restrooms. From there I got the chance to be on air weekends at WiLD which was a dream come true since I grew up listening to the station. Few years later I got a call from Sam Diggedy asking if I wanted to come down to KDON and be the Night Show host and for the next 5 years held it down from 6p-10p! During this time I got the chance to be on the air in LA at KPWR, Las Vegas at KLUC, WiLD 106 in SLO and KMVQ in SF. Then October of 2011 I left KDON to further pursue my dreams of becoming an astronaut and explore space. I then went to Space Camp and on the day of my shuttle launch I asked the captain 2 vital things of importance that could be the deciding factor of my space career...1.Are there night clubs that play house music in space? and 2. Can I still wear hair gel under my space helmet? Few days later I left space camp angry that my two questions were followed with a NO. Soon after I remembered the people of the 831 and how I missed them and how I left the 6p-10p shift a ghost town. And a light bulp turned on, I must return to my people. I called upon my white horse jumped on it and ripped off my shirt and galloped in to the 831 like a valiant hero returning to his people. And now I am back on your radio 6p-10p every night. I know just a ho-hum story right?!
Mariah Carey is getting some backup from her husband Nick Cannon.
The "America's Got Talent" judge appeared on Los Angeles' KTLA TV on Monday, defending Mariah's take on the much-talked-about feud with Nicki Minaj. Cannon said that as an outsider, he feels "Idol" has been "perpetuating" the rivalry for their benefit and hinted that his wife wasn't at all happy about it. Cannon says "She didn't sign up for that."
He suggested that Mariah has been disappointed with the way things went this season and that she had "foreseen" it when Nicki was first brought on as a judge. Cannon also raised doubts about Mariah's returning to "Idol," saying she might take another look at it if producers can "get it stable."
Cannon also appeared on CBS' "The Talk" on Monday where he declared that his wife's time on the Fox reality series would be "a footnote" in her career as a whole.
Per the prosecuting attorney, Robert Kardashian appeared in court this morning with his attorney, Robert Shapiro, and pleaded not guilty to the two misdemeanor counts. Judge Marsha Revel allowed him to remain out on his own recognizance, over prosecutor's objection. Prosecution asked that bail be set at $21,000.
Rob Kardashian has been charged with two misdemeanor counts in his assault of a photographer back in March.
The office of Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey has charged the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" actor with simple battery and petty theft against Kassandra Perez (who also goes by the name Andra Viak) on March 22, when she tried to photograph the reality actor outside of a gym in West Hollywood, California. Kardashian was reportedly shirtless when Perez tried to snap pics of him, and reportedly claimed that Perez had crossed onto private property.
A warrant of arrest has been requested for Kardashian. Bail is recommended at $21,000.
Perez also filed a civil lawsuit last month, in which she alleges he "intentionally, willfully, wantonly and maliciously" ran over to her in the "public parking lot of a local gym," where she was "struck in the face and suffered severe contusions on her arm and chest, as well as damage to her property."
Though Perez claims that she offered to show Kardashian how to delete the photos of himself from her camera, he instead "removed the camera's memory card, threw the camera back at Plaintiff and left with Plaintiff's memory card stating, 'I'll pay you when I see you.'"
The D.A.'s office tells omg! that they have no idea when he'll be arraigned, and it could possibly not be for three or four more weeks. A rep for Kardashian had "no comment."
Justin Timberlake fans may have to wait less than they expected to hear the second part of The 20/20 Experience.
Part Two of the star's recent comeback album was rumored to drop in November, according to collaborator QuestLove of The Roots. But on Sunday, Timberlake took to Twitter to post a photo of himself in the studio, along with a handwritten sign reading "The 20/20 Experience, 2 of 2, September 30th."
Justin has remained quiet on the subject of the follow-up, after only briefly confirming to Ryan Seacrest in March.
When 20/20 dropped that month, it sold 968-thousand copies in its first week. The album remained at number one on the Billboard 200 for three consecutive weeks. Its two singles "Suit & Tie" and "Mirrors" are currently in the top 10 on the Hot 100 as well.
Fans can tune into Fox tonight to catch the premiere of Rihanna's new documentary, 777 TOUR.
The documentary follows the star during her week-long world tour last November during the release of her latest album, Unapologetic. She performed seven shows in seven countries - Mexico City, Toronto, Stockholm, Paris, Berlin, London and New York - to create international buzz about her seventh studio album.
The documentary is described as "an inside look at this ambitious and often turbulent tour" with a "larger than life video and audio experience."
The version that's airing on Fox tonight at 8 p.m. Eastern will be an edited down version of 777 TOUR. The full 77-minute version will become available to purchase on DVD starting Tuesday.

Lil Wayne was hospitalized again for a seizure, TMZ has learned.
Sources close to Wayne tell TMZ that the rapper was taken to Cedars-Sinai in L.A. late Tuesday night by his bodyguards. TMZ reports he suffered a single seizure and was treated and released early this morning.
As TMZ first reported, 30-year-old Lil Wayne spent a week at Cedars back in March after suffering multiple severe seizures that nearly killed him. He spent 6 days in ICU.
Wayne subsequently went on the radio and explained he's an epileptic, and has been suffering from seizures since he was a kid.

Last month, Brown released the first single from X called "Fine China." Since the track arrived on airwaves, it has peaked at number 51 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart.

Snoop Lion - a.k.a Snoop Dogg - is taking the high road in his beef with reggae legend Bunny Wailer. Earlier this year Bunny, of Bob Marley and the Wailers fame, spoke out against Snoop, accusing the rapper-turned-rasta of fraudulently using the Rastafari culture in his documentary "Reincarnated."
Now, Snoop tells RollingStone.com he paid no attention to Bunny's comments. In fact, Snoop says he refuses to speak negatively about Bunny because he believes it's the only way he can "match" Bunny's "negative energy."
Snoop thinks the feud boils down to a miscommunication. However, Snoop says he can't understand why Bunny would come out against him because the last time they saw each other "it was all love."
One theory Snoop has is that Bunny became upset after he wasn't compensated for appearing in the documentary, even though Bunny agreed to appear on camera.
Snoop Lion released his first reggae album Reincarnated in April. The album features a number of big name artists, including Drake, Miley Cyrus and Akon.
