VISA And Friends...
Visa On The Radio
So what do you want to know? How this fairy tale started? I can lie to you and tell you that it all came easy and with the snap of my fingers but like I said thats a lie! Lets get straight to it! My name is Visa, your Night Show host from 6p-10p. Born and raised in the Bay Area, went to San Jose State and started my radio career in San Francisco at KYLD- WiLD 94.9 where I worked for free, interned, stickered stuff, did everything including cleaning the restrooms. From there I got the chance to be on air weekends at WiLD which was a dream come true since I grew up listening to the station. Few years later I got a call from Sam Diggedy asking if I wanted to come down to KDON and be the Night Show host and for the next 5 years held it down from 6p-10p! During this time I got the chance to be on the air in LA at KPWR, Las Vegas at KLUC, WiLD 106 in SLO and KMVQ in SF. Then October of 2011 I left KDON to further pursue my dreams of becoming an astronaut and explore space. I then went to Space Camp and on the day of my shuttle launch I asked the captain 2 vital things of importance that could be the deciding factor of my space career...1.Are there night clubs that play house music in space? and 2. Can I still wear hair gel under my space helmet? Few days later I left space camp angry that my two questions were followed with a NO. Soon after I remembered the people of the 831 and how I missed them and how I left the 6p-10p shift a ghost town. And a light bulp turned on, I must return to my people. I called upon my white horse jumped on it and ripped off my shirt and galloped in to the 831 like a valiant hero returning to his people. And now I am back on your radio 6p-10p every night. I know just a ho-hum story right?!

Chris Brown went into a VIOLENT RAGE while in rehab earlier this month for his anger issues ... throwing objects and breaking them, reports TMZ.
TMZ reports the D.A. will use this and other incidents later today in court to make the case that he belongs in jail ... NOW.
TMZ is told the rehab facility wanted him OUT after the incident ... and that's why he bailed after only 2 weeks.
Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... the L.A. County Probation Dept. is submitting information to the judge today about the incident, along with the criminal assault charge in Washington, D.C. TMZ reports the Probation Dept will ask the judge to order Chris into a live-in anger management program for a period of months.
Sources tell TMZ the D.A. isn't as forgiving and will ask the judge during today's progress hearing in the Rihanna beating case to revoke his probation and send him to jail - as early as today.
A 30-year-old man thought he was just going to be a guest at a wedding in India last week but he ended up being the groom, the Times of India reports. The bride's family apparently fought with the original groom Monday and he walked off angrily; he didn't return as expected Tuesday and could not be found, and the wedding was scheduled for the following day. That's when the guest, a relative of the bride, offered to marry her in what the Timescalls "a kind gesture." The family was "relieved" when the wedding took place on schedule.
(Yahoo!) - Let the the holiday season officially begin!
Although it's not even Thanksgiving yet, radio stations are playing Christmas songs, stores are offering pre-Black Friday sales, and now, Honey Boo Boo and her brood have adorned the yard of their McIntyre, Georgia, home with elaborate decorations. The inflatable oversized snowman and reindeer stable, complete with a throne for Santa, and lights adorning the house would almost — almost — be enough to win the respect of "Christmas Vacation's" Clark W. Griswold.
The stars of TLC's "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" have a tradition of going all out with their decorations. In the weeks leading up to December 25, they dress up Honey Boo Boo's dad Sugar Bear as Santa, Mama June as Mrs. Claus, and Honey Boo Boo as Santa's helper (Elvis Presley, strangely), and ask people to come by and donate to the needy in their neck of the woods. In 2012, on only one of the several trips they made to Walmart, the Thompsons spent $3,200 on toys for less fortunate kids.
Mama June explained the inspiration behind the act of kindness on one of last year's Christmas episodes.
"When we were in need, someone helped out me, so now I want to be able to help the next person," she said. "I was there one time. I didn't have Christmas for my kids. And it's not a fun experience as a parent to wake up to your child having nothing at Christmastime."
The only way we can think of improving upon this tradition is if Honey Boo Boo performed "Blue Christmas"!

(Yahoo!) - At this point, when you date Taylor Swift, you should expect consequences (or rather, a song written detailing what went wrong in your relationship).
The 23-year-old singer covers New York magazine, and in the article, Taylor subtly reveals that she heard from Jake Gyllenhaal — whom she dated for about two months in fall 2010 — after her mega-successful album "Red" came out.
“I heard from the guy that most of 'Red' is about,” Swift recalls (for those not keeping track at home, Yahoo Music can confirm most of the album is about the 32-year-old actor). “He was like, ‘I just listened to the album, and that was a really bittersweet experience for me. It was like going through a photo album.’ That was nice. Nicer than, like, the ranting, crazy e-mails I got from this one dude."
Considering Taylor has a long list of former flames — including Harry Styles, Joe Jonas, John Mayer,Taylor Lautner, and Conor Kennedy (just to name a few) — that doesn't narrow down who Crazy Email Guy might be.
However, it sounds like Swift preferred Gyllenhaal's approach.
"It’s a lot more mature way of looking at a love that was wonderful until it was terrible, and both people got hurt from it — but one of those people happened to be a songwriter,” continues Taylor, rolling her eyes. “So what are you going to do? Did you not Wikipedia me before you called me up?”
Jake is hardly the first victim of Taylor's poison pen.
On Taylor's 2010 album "Speak Now," she included the song "Dear John," about Mayer, 35, and many songs on "Fearless" were about Joe Jonas, 24.
“I only write songs about crazy love,” Swift says in New York magazine. “If I go on two dates with a guy and we don’t click, I’m not writing a song about that. It didn’t matter in the emotional grand scheme of things. There’s a lot that goes on in daily life that isn’t really worth turning into a verse and a chorus.”
However, Taylor is very self aware of what her critics have to say about that method.
“There’s a spin on every single celebrity out there,” she says. “I know that one of my spins is: ‘Oh, Taylor’s heartbroken. Oh, Taylor fell in love and the guy broke her heart. She’s sad all the time, and lonely.’
“I mean, they can say that all they want," continues the country crooner. "Those are real feelings that every single person goes through. I think that it’s okay to be mad at someone who hurt you. This isn’t about, like, the pageantry of trying to seem like nothing affects you. I’m a songwriter. Everything affects me.”
Taylor plans to spend much of 2014 writing and recording a new album, one we're sure One Direction's Harry Styles is eagerly anticipating.

It looks like Katy Perry is going from a roaring queen of the jungle to queen of the ball in her new music video for "Unconditionally."
In a new teaser, Katy appears to be at what seems to be a winter ball, as snow is falling, with a few of the lyrics flash in between.
Katy also has some fun with the title of the song itself, making the "O" in Unconditionally the sign for infinity.
Check out the teaser below!
Miley Cyrus appears in a parody of the now-infamous “Justin Bieber sleeping” video put out by a UK radio station.
The “We Can’t Stop” singer appeared on the station's breakfast show this week, after which the outlet posted a video in which she takes the place of Tati Neves, who recently filmed Bieber as he slept during his visit to Brazil.
While it’s not totally clear whether Cyrus actively participated in the spoof, it’s still amusing to see her “cameo.”
A Florida man has been arrested for apparently loving donuts as much as he loves a deal. Charles "Chuck" Barry got fired up at a local Dunkin' Donuts when employees denied him a 10% discount he'd been accustomed to getting. That's when Barry flashed a sheriff's badge and a holstered gun and said, "See, I am a cop!" the Orlando Sentinel reports. Claiming first to be a US marshal, then an air marshal, Barry—a printer, fax, and copy machine supplier—demanded he get his hands on some donuts; he didn't. He later left, only to return the very next day.
