"Love Is In The Air"
Learn how to do your own gorgeous mani yourself from home using regular polishes & tools from around the house! This weeks mani, VALENTINES! Follow these easy pictorials to get this same look, or use my techniques to create your own! Make sure you all follow me on IG @lizettelovee :) If you would like the brands & names of the polish I used for this look please contact me, otherwise any of the same or similar colors will look just fine!
You will need: White base coat, clear top coat, pink, red, black, & clear, pink or red glitter (optional) polishes. A toothpick, paper plate, & tiny pink beads. Beads can really be any color of your choice, since this look is Valentines themed I went with pink. You can get these beads at any arts & crafts store for a couple bucks! WAY cheaper than buying brand name beads from a cosmetics store! ;)

Step 1
First start out with a simple white base coat on your pointer & middle finger, this will make the color last longer & more vibrant, especially with pink! You don't need to use much, 1 thin layer is fine. Let dry.
Step 2
Brush on 1 layer of your pink polish. If you want more color you may add 1 more layer of the pink, otherwise 1 layer is fine. Let dry.
Step 3 (Optional)
If you have any pink or red glitter polish you can paint 1 thin layer of this over the color. TOTALLY optional. If you do, you don't need much, this just gives it a little something extra. ;)
Step 4
This is where it gets a little harder, with your white polish you want to paint half a heart on the nail as shown in the picture. If you were to put your hand out in front of you, telling someone to STOP....collaborate & listen, the heart should be upside down when you look at it. If you need to define the heart better, pour some white polish out onto your paper plate & dip the toothpick in (or dotting tool if you have one) & make the perfect half heart you've ever seen! Do the same on the other finger, so if you were to put them next to eachother, each finger would have a half heart, creating a FULL heart when together. :) Let COMPLETELY dry.
Step 5
Make sure the heart is completely dry or this step will mess it up! Pour some black polish on your paper plate, dip the toothpick in, & from left to right write "love" on your nails inside the heart, using only 2 letters per nail.
Step 6
After it has all completely dry, paint 2 layers of clear top coat, clean up around your nails & BAM! You're all done. Now on to the next nails :)

Step 1
On your pinky & thumb nails, start out by painting 1 layer of white base coat. Let dry. SIMPLE. :)
Step 2 (Optional)
With your clear glitter polish, paint 1 thin strip down the center of your nail..or down the side, or diagonal, or however you'd like! Let dry.
Step 3
After the glitter has dried, you can make your hearts. It's a lot easier than it probably looks! Pour out some red polish on your paper plate & dip the toothpick in. Start out with 2 dots right next to eachother. They can be any size, depending on how big or small you want your heart to be.
Step 4
Connect the 2 dots with 2 small lines that meet in a point. BAM! Take a look, it's a heart! :D Repeat steps 3 & 4 to create 4 or 5 hearts going across your nail.
Step 5
After you've made your hearts, all that's left to do is dot around them with the toothpick! Any size, & as many or as little as you'd like! Have fun with it! Let dry.
Step 6
After your hearts & dots are COMPLETELY dry, top with 2 layers of clear top coat & you're done! Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Here's the fun part, BEADS! I did this look on both ring fingers, but you can really do any fingers you'd like. Also, fyi I bought my beads at Michael's! They have a huge selection & only cost a couple bucks! Where as I saw a nail beading kit at Sephora, & I can tell you it cost WAY more than a couple bucks lol if you want the Sephora brand then by all means you can buy that kit, this is just a much more affordable way to get the same look! :)
Step 1
Paint one layer of white base coat. Let dry.
Step 2
Paint one layer of red or pink polish. I used my pink polish, only because the beads are light pink & I wanted to color coordinate. lol DO NOT let dry.
Step 3
Place your nail over a paper plate (to avoid making a huge mess with the beads), & BEFORE the polish dries, gently shake the beads over your nail, the beads should stick to the polish. Cover your entire nail. There may be some gaps on your nail the beads didn't stick to, the easiest way I fixed this without messing up my nail was to just turn my finger the best I could so the gap was facing completely upwards & I gently poured some more beads over that area. I did get atleast 1 more bead to stick to that gap which was all I really needed. If there's any beads sticking up or off the nail, just GENTLY push it into it's place.
Step 4
After the polish has COMPLETELY dried, you may paint a layer of clear top coat to give it an extra shine & stick the beads together a little more. ALL DONE! :)
I hope you all enjoyed this pictorial & love this Valentines look as much as I do! Follow me on IG @lizettelovee !
