Just weeks after breaking up with Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez took the stage at the third annual UNICEF charity concert over the weekend and covered Justin Timberlake’s famous break-up ballad, “Cry Me a River.”

“I’ve been through a lot the last couple of months," the brunette beauty, 20, told the audience at New York’s Best Buy Theater. "It’s been sad and cool, but interesting. This song definitely speaks to me."

Bieber, 18, did beat his former gal pal to the punch by covering the exact same song at a Boston show in November after the on-again off-again couples’ first public split.
