Listen to Jay-Z on iHeartRadio
Jay-Z is New York's number one rapper, according to "Time Out New York."
Hov beat out 49 of New York hip-hop's heaviest hitters to land at the top spot on the magazine's "50 Greatest NYC Hip-Hop Artists." Editors cited Jay's numerous collaborations with a variety of artists, including Notorious B.I.G., Coldplay, Kanye West and UGK as the reason he outranked all other hip-hoppers.
