Listen to Lupe Fiasco on iHeartRadio
Lupe Fiasco is adding a new job to his resume. Billboard.com reports the rapper has been named the creative director for a new health and wellness app called Higi.
Lupe says he signed on with the venture because "it adds value to the world."
The app combines a person's blood pressure, weight, diet and other wellness metrics to come up with a score that gives users an insight into their overall health. It also allows users to upload photos of what they're eating to determine the amount of calories they are consuming.
Lupe says the app shows users that "weight and wellness aren't the same thing."
Lupe's new title as creative director doesn't mean he's leaving the rap game. He assures fans that he's still going to be making music, but now he's "got a legit nine to five."
Lupe is currently working on his fifth album Tetsuo and Youth which is expected to hit stores later this year.
