Rihanna could be looking forward to a long break after she wraps up her latest world tour.  On Ryan Seacrest's Saturday morning show, the "American Idol" host claimed to have sources telling him that the star "plans to take up to a year off to unwind."  He said that Ri-Ri wants to take a break from music before starting to record her eighth album, as she's feeling burnt out after having done seven hit albums in seven years.

It's a strange time for talk about a break, considering this weekend was the launch of her "Diamonds" world tour, which won't be over until late summer. 

She was forced to cancel her Sunday show in Boston due to a case of laryngitis, tweeting that she was hurt for having let down her fans. 

The 25-year-old hinted at the possibility of a marriage with Chris Brown in a recent interview with Elle U.K., saying that sees herself with a kid in five years' time.
