Janet Jackson is putting those engagement rumors to rest.  The pop superstar says she's not engaged - she's married!  Janet came clean about her secret marriage to billionaire businessman Wissam Al Mana in a post on her website. 

The message reads: "The rumours regarding an extravagant wedding are simply not true.  Last year we were married in a quiet, private, and beautiful ceremony.  Our wedding gifts to one another were contributions to our respective favorite children's charities We would appreciate that our privacy is respected and that we are allowed this time for celebration and joy.  With love, Wissam and Janet." 

Reports that Jackson and Al Mana had been planning a lavish wedding have been circulating for several months now. 

This marks the third marriage for the singer.  Jackson's brief union to singer James DeBarge ended in annulment in 1985.  She was also secretly married to video director Rene Elizondo for nine years.  The public was unaware of the marriage until their divorce in 2000.
