Hip-hop legend Tim Dog has passed away.  According to thesource.com, Tim Dog - born Timothy Blair - died, at 46 years old, on Thursday after suffering a seizure apparently caused by his long battle with diabetes.

The Bronx-born emcee is best known for his beef with West Coast rapper Dr. Dre and his group N.W.A. in the early 1990s.  The feud with the West Coast led to Tim's diss track "F*** Compton" which appeared on his 1991 debut album "Penicillin on Wax."

He went on to release three other solo albums as well as two collaboration albums with Kool Keith.  Blair made headlines last year when he pleaded guilty to grand larceny for swindling a woman out of 32-thousand dollars in an online dating scam.  He was sentenced to five years probation and ordered to pay restitution.
