Are the Gangsta Disciples the leading suspects in the Rick Ross shooting? That's the word according to AllHipHop.com, which claims that Ft. Lauderdale, Florida police have already begun investigating whether the Chicago gang was behind the assassination attempt. 

A beef between Ross and the GDs became public last year after members of the gang released a video claiming that Rozay hadn't paid "dues" after using some of their logos and symbols. 

Meanwhile, former drug baron Freeway Ricky Ross, who Ross took his name from, Tweeted his sympathies to the rapper yesterday. “I don’t wish this upon no man. Reality is when you claim to live that life and people know that you are faking, they are going to test you. Reality.”
