Listen to Mac Miller on iHeartRadio
Indie rapper Mac Miller is ready for the spotlight. He's lined up an MTV reality series that will focus on his move from Pittsburgh to L.A. and his rise from the underground to the number-one spot on the charts.
The six-episode show, which will premiere on MTV 2 in March, is being described as a hip-hop version of Entourage, with plenty of screen time for Miller's Most Dope Crew.
He tells the Hollywood Reporter, "The show is going to be cool. It's a little look into my life…well, all the stuff you can show on TV. I have been living in my studio for months working on my album, so the show kind of forced me to get out of that room and go do something entertaining."
Miller's debut album, Blue Slide Park, hit number-one in November of last year. The follow-up, Watching Movies With the Sound Off, will drop in the spring.
