(WENN) - Rapper Fabolous was king for a day on Sunday as he celebrated his 35th birthday in New York City with a royal-themed party and a cake shaped like a crown.

The hip-hop star marked the milestone by throwing a bash at Manhattan hotspot W.I.P. for guests including fellow rapper Busta Rhymes, and he donned a special crown for the affair.

Fabolous was also presented with a three-tier birthday cake, shaped as a golden crown resting on cushions, emblazoned with the message "Happy birthday King Fabolous".

The star posted several pictures of his birthday cake, and of himself wearing a crown, on his Twitter:

Now that's a celebration fit for a king!
