(WENN) - Rapper Gunplay is reportedly under house arrest after handing himself into cops following allegations of armed robbery.
An arrest warrant was issued for the 30-year-old MC, real name Richard Morales, Jr., in May, in connection with the robbery of a man at a tax business in Miami, Florida, and he finally surrendered himself to authorities earlier this month.
He is facing charges of armed robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, and aggravated assault but was allowed out on bail after paying a $150,000 bond.
As part of the rules of his bail, Morales, Jr. has been placed under house arrest, according to NBC.
His attorney Michael Grieco says, "The state did not prove that Mr. Morales was a flight risk or a threat to the community.
"He should be home with his family shortly. This is (the) first step in clearing his name so he can continue his emerging music career."
